Since February 2016 we have had a mini pop-up library at Willesden Green station, thanks to the generosity and support of the station manager. The library sits in the ticket hall opposite the stairs to the platforms, so it’s in full view of travellers arriving at the station.

It’s been enormously popular, and has since been joined by pop-ups at both Cricklewood Thameslink and Kilburn Underground.  All of the libraries are kept going by a team of enthusiastic book-replenishers, collecting books from friends and neighbours and re-stocking the shelves every time they pass through.

We’d love it if you could use the library. Borrow a book, bring it back. If you have books to give away, please do donate them to this library as there’s always need for new stock. If you donate a book, please help us publicise the new library by including a sticker in the book so that borrowers remember where it came from. We’d love to know how far our books get when they’re released into the wild, so if you come across a book from the Cricklewood pop up library, be sure to Tweet us or say hi on our Facebook page and let us know.

Stickers for the books are available on our Resources page.
